Three Recent Marcellus Shale Drilling Accidents

The Times-Tribune has reported two major accidents related to Marcellus Shale natural gas drilling in the past week. The first accident in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, resulted in a 16-hour leak of gas and frack into the environment. More recently, seven workers were injured in a massive explosion in West Virginia. A third accident was reported several months ago in a state forest in Clinton County, PA.
