Natural gas drilling in Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale formation has made news repeatedly this past year. As I have stated before, the mass tort, environmental and real estate/contract litigation arising from Marcellus Shale gas exploration and mining is a very pressing legal issue to many in Pennsylvania.
Until now, Wayne County has remained removed from the controversies associated with drilling, but according to today's
Times-Tribune that will soon change. Exploratory wells are planned for this summer, and production is anticipated to begin in 2011 if developers receive their permits.
Some citizens oppose the drilling. The group
Damascus Citizens for Sustainability, for example, insists that, "people have a constitutional right to clean air, pure water, and the preservation of the natural, scenic, historic and esthetic values of the environment." Their website lists numerous instances in which drilling has led to water contamination.
Given the potential for water pollution, it remains to be seen whether the
Delaware River Basin Commission, a multi-state regulatory agency, will clear the way for production drilling to begin.
If you or someone you know has been affected by this formation in any way, or may be affected in the future, then you should seek representation from
Marcellus Shale attorney Patrick M. Rogan as soon as possible to make sure your rights are protected. Contact Rogan Law today.

| Milford, Pennsylvania Injury Attorney |
| Posted By Patrick M. Rogan |

| The town of Milford in Pike County, PA is a lovely place nestled near the Delaware River where PA, NY and NJ meet.
Because of the town's close proximity to neighboring states, residents often pursue services, such as health care, from providers across state lines.
Recently, I learned that a resident of the area was looking for a medical malpractice attorney to pursue a claim that originated in nearby NJ. The woman was unsure whether she needed a NJ attorney to advocate on her behalf.
At Rogan Law, we can pursue your claim for you regardless of the state of origin.

| Fatal Car Crashes Cause for Concern in Poconos |
| Posted By Patrick M. Rogan |
 |
| Do you know the leading cause of death for Americans aged 34 and under? How about the leading cause of long-term disability for Americans of all ages? Turns out if you know the answer to one question, then you know the answer to both.
Driving accidents.
The Pocono Record recently reported that driving accidents account for more than 40,000 deaths each year - that's around 120 people per day. Many additional people are seriously injured in ways that continue to impact them for the rest of their lives.
In the Poconos, fatal accidents are on the rise. Country roads, extreme weather conditions and population increases may all be factors in this deadly trend.
Losing someone you love in a car accident is almost unthinkable, but it is, unfotunately, far more likely than we want to believe. Often called vehicular manslaughter or vehicular homicide, driving-related deaths do affect many Pocono families.
If you or someone you know is experiencing this most painful tragedy, then you need to find a Pocono wrongful death attorney who will stand by your side and will build a case against the driver who caused the accident while you focus on your emotional and spiritual loss.
A Pocono wrongful death lawyer from Rogan Law can help your family begin the process of filing a wrongful death suit against the responsible party. This won't bring your loved one back, but it can help you to begin healing and provide you with financial compensation to cover funeral costs, medical bills and more.
